i have always been able to see details of a days sales on my iPhone using the Dashboard app. Admittedly, I still had to flip to the square app to get fee charges etc.

Now with the update, almost all functionality has been removed.

I see lots of pretty graphs which are useless. And these graphs take up half my screen.

If i want a detailed breakdown of exactly what was sold, I cannot get this. The best I can get is a dollar figure of a particular item, which means that I have to get out my calculator and divide by the selling price to determine the quantity sold.

Even if i log into the dashboard through safari on my phone, i get a washed down report that is useless. I still cannot get the details needed.

I spoke with Support and was told that I need to log into Dashboard on my Mac to see any details. Even the new reporting on the on-line Dashboard is really cumbersome and poorly laid out. More useless graphs and columns that are so wide that 2 can take up half my display. Do you really need half the screen to show Unit measure?

I don't carry my Mac with me wherever I go, so this is a ridiculous solution.

Please being back common sense reporting as it was and even improve it so all the information can be found in one sport without having to log into two apps.

I really love Square, but if I cannot get real time reporting as I did once, this I may have to look for another POS solution.
