Once it’s been paid and the money has transferred successfully to your account usually 2-3 business days it’s available to update at your normal time on the 4th day it would be available. I have seen 7-10 business days but that was pending payment on their end. 1-3k is not out of the ordinary and usually doesn’t send up red flags a new account 7k will. Time is going to your best friend with square and it will get better and increase. Everyone here is giving you sound advice.

What size are your usual transactions? If this is unusually large for your account, Square may hold the funds until they're satisfied it is legitimate.

see https://squareup.com/au/en/the-bottom-line/operating-your-business/square-keeps-businesses-safe

$7k is much higher than $3k. Is the transaction showing in your dashboard?

Probably best to contact Square directly, they're very helpful.

If your square account is fairly new or you don’t normally take large payments like this then it’s normal for there to be a deal with the money being available for you. It’s explained in the Square terms of service

There you go, new account and large transaction - Square will hold it while they investigate. This is in the Terms & Conditions, and the link I provided earlier.

As stated above yes, can and will hold funds until you start to build a relationship and that is still determined by them as to if they hold it or not. After time and you start to get a pattern of large deposits (depending on your business) they do relax more and will/can increase your daily deposit limits pending no issues. Just keep processing like you normally do and establish that relationship. With just about everything with Square when you start out the algorithm has to pick up a pattern of how you process, how often and dollar amounts. As you continue it recognizes that this is normal for your business and limits can be increased at their discretion. You will get there. Good luck and keep up the good work!
