      <title>Account Suspended While Working with Support</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Recently, Square requested information.&amp;nbsp; At that time, they told me my account would be suspended if I didn't provide the requested information.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've had the same request in the past, so I was familiar with it, and provided the information within the time provided.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Apparently, more information was required, and a second request was sent.&amp;nbsp; In this request, however, I was unable to provide a "yes" answer, even though I had made every good faith effort to provide the information on time.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Not wanting the account to be suspended, I contacted support.&amp;nbsp; The first person understood the problem I was having, but couldn't help, so turned it over to the next level of support.&amp;nbsp; That person likewise couldn't help and so said she was going to turn the request over to the next level of support.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I asked the second person if my account would be suspended.&amp;nbsp; I pointed out that I had always responded on time and was still within the time permitted.&amp;nbsp; She told me that since the account was still being reviewed by support that it wouldn't be suspended.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Today I found out that the account has been suspended.&amp;nbsp; Because of this, my website can take payments, but Square won't turn them over to me.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This seems like a harsh and unreasonable response by Square.&amp;nbsp; Has anyone else had a problem like this?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If Square is never satisfied with the information I supply (which would be surprising since I've provided information no this topic in the past), what happens to the money?&amp;nbsp; Does Square refund it?&amp;nbsp; Do they keep it?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Either way costs me money in a way that could have been avoided.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any insights into this would be greatly appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
