I need help. just set up new account. not a big company or anything like that, just sell at farmers market. some people want to pay with a card and didn't have the means. another vendor suggested square. I think my account is set up, just don't know where to go from here. don't think I need a chip reader, at least not yet. do not want anyone to touch my phone. didn't see where to decline signatures. and do I get that other plug in device sent to me?

First things first, I would recommend checking out this helpful Getting Started guide. It will walk you through all major aspects of using Square and help answer any questions.

In regards to disabling signatures, here is a guide as well.
