How would I setup automatic prints of my end of day drawer reports

We have two businesses under Square; One automatically prints out the drawer report when closing the current drawer while the other business does not. Both businesses use square retail and square restaurant.

Looking online and through the community, I can't seem where I can turn this on.

Any help would be appreciated- thanks

That’s interesting, especially since you have two businesses using Square and one automatically prints the drawer report while the other doesn’t.

Since the behavior is different between the two locations/accounts, my first thought would be to compare the printer profiles/settings and cash drawer settings side-by-side on each POS. There may be a configuration difference between the two rather than a general Square setting you’re overlooking.

I’d also check that both are running the same version of the Square software and compare which printer is assigned to each profile.

If everything matches and one still automatically prints while the other doesn’t, I’d reach out to Square Support because that would be really useful information for them: essentially two setups that should behave the same but don’t.

I’m curious if anyone using Square for Retail + Square for Restaurants has found the exact setting for this. If so, drop the path here because I have a feeling this could help more people than just the OP! 😊

I have two Square (Retail and Restaurants) accounts as well. I cannot get my Square for Restaurants account to report on a full day at all. I have made adjustments multiple times. I have asked it to send me daily reports for a 24 hour time frame and I can only get 10:30am - Midnight each day. We open at 8am on weekends and I never get my breakfast sales on my nightly reports.

My Square for Retail gives me the full day of reports everyday!
