thread Clients Location id, and access token. in Reports Setup & Management

I am building a custom dashboard for my client who uses square. The client uses square for everything including scheduling, staffing, payments, etc. I want to implement CRUD on scheduling and staffing using an api. Is there a better way to ask for location id and access token with my client? The client is not so tech savy so I wanted to know if there is an easier way to ask for these values without freaking my client out about security concerns.
