Square AI availability — am I missing something?

I’m seeing Square AI mentioned everywhere and was really excited to try it, but I don’t see it available in my Square dashboard yet.

Is Square AI still being rolled out in phases? Are there specific eligibility requirements (region, account type, features enabled, etc.)?

I’m based in Canada and use Square regularly for my business, so I just want to make sure I’m not missing a setting or invitation.

Hi @WST90 Currently Square AI is only available in the US. There are a couple of reasons for this, but the biggest one (as I understand it) is that Square will have to comply with each country's laws and regulations. As you can imagine, since there is no international standard, yet, each country has its own quirks that need to be addressed. The last time I heard anything about this, it was being researched and worked on, but there were no time frames for availability.

Ah, I see. Thanks so much for the response. I was really excited about this feature and must have missed that it’s currently U.S. only. Hopefully Canada will get access soon!

Its appeared here in the UK over the last couple of weeks, so it looks like it is rolling out gradually. Hopefully it will be with you shortly.

Where exactly is the AI concepts? I see them with helping me generate descriptions of items and creating reports, but I find the reports I was already creating the reports easily with the program, without using the AI option. I haven't really seen it anywhere else. We are based in the US.

Hi @ehflower You can fire Square AI up from your web dashboard, using the icon at the bottom-right of your navigation pane (Red dot in screen shot below)
