Sales report by customer name

is there a report i can produce to show which customers paid against items or the amount paid?

I can see one that just has customers and their email address, or one with total sales taken, but not what amount each customer paid.

Great question! While you can't view a detailed breakdown of what each customer spent directly in your Sales or Transactions Reports, you can use the Customer Insights Report to get more information, such as total amounts spent and average spend per customer.

Additionally, if you haven't already, you can check the Transactions section in individual customer profiles. By selecting a profile and scrolling down to this section, you'll be taken to a page where you can filter by date range and view detailed individual payments.

Thankyou for your response, its not exactly what im after but its a work-around.

i wanted a report that I could export:

Customer Name Paid Date

J Blow $40 18.03.25

M Smith $35 18.03.25

H Grant $40 18.03.25

I am after the exact same kind of report.

Spend by customer.

I want to be about to see my highest spend customers.

So I need a report that can export total spend per customer.

Customer insights reports don't cut it.

Such a report is very easy in Shopify for e-commerce customers, I want the same insights about my on-premise customers as well.

I can't believe they don't have a report that includes customer name??? Ridiculous. We are going to have to find a different system.
