thread Export Inventory history for transfers need source & destination location in Reports Setup & Management

I need to do a journal entry for inventory transferred between locations but the export of the inventory history for transfers appears to only show the destination location. How can I see where the inventory came from? I have 4 locations and inventory travels between all 4.

Hello @Cafe_Conmigo_PK - I see this is your first time posting a question in the Square Community so I'd like to officially welcome you! 🎉👏

I took a look in Square Dashboard and found the Destination Location is displayed when you click "Transfer Order" at the individual Transfer level, but I do understand the need for this information when you export the Transfer History Report in bulk.

I've reached out to our Item Catalog and Inventory Team to see if there's a way to add this to the export. I'll follow up with you here, once I have confirmation from their team!

Thank you Violet. I can usually find answers to my questions in the community but couldn't find anything on this topic. It only became an issue when we added our 3rd and 4th locations. Since the data is in the transfer order it shouldn't be hard to add it to the export. But I was a programmer in my youth and realize, depending on the way data is stored, it's not always that easy. Hopefully this will be doable. I'm not sure how to get the inventory value transferred otherwise.

PK
