Has anyone received a loan offer in 2023?

I'm at 71% and usually see a offer by now (between 65%-70&).

Anyone get new loan offers recently? I know square/block had a HUGE stake in crypto; wondering if that has affected anything like square loans. Paid off my 4th loan and all my qualifiers are marked as "GOOD" .

I received an offer two weeks ago at 90%ish paid off and two of my friends that have different types of businesses received offers recently. So I know the offers are out there. My offer was half of what my last loan was that I took last year.

Just a note all three of us do our checking/savings with Square now so not sure if that helps.

I got my largest loan in June. 77-% paid off. So almost at 90%. Any other places like this that help small business was.

I haven't received any new loan offers this year. I'm currently at 70% repayment. Usually I'd get a new offer between 60-70% percent. I've read in the forums that this (2023) year the offers are hitting a littler later in the percentage and without the massive increment we are use to. These loans have been so helpful, I really hope they don't slow them down, but I totally understand if they do with everything that happened recently in the tech sector. 😕 I'll keep this tread updated if anything changes on my end. Received 4th or 5th Square Capital loan in Dec 2022. We are always way ahead of the payment schedule.

I’m on my 4th or 5th loan with them as well as my largest. 76% paid since Oct 2022 & no new offers. I have never waited this long either. Hopefully something comes up soon😬

Yes, I got an offer and accepted it in January. I have completed multiple loans with Square. This time, due to what must be a rather short time period that the numbers are based on, my offers went from $26K to zero, to $25K over the course of less than two weeks.

square loans are a trap.... get something from American Express (kabbage) small business, they don't charge you based on what you process for the day.

I received my most recent Loan from Square in February. I believe it was at 75% or so payment of the last loan when the offer came in.

It was literally when I was in a crunch for cash which was nice, so hang in there and if you need a loan it will hopefully come through in time. It's still better than the offers not coming from the bank LOL

We love Square Capital! It may not work for you, but has been a perfect addition for our business. We've had 6-7 loans with no issues.

Can you explain how they are a trap? They're extremely up-front with the amount they'll give you, the amount you'll repay, the percentage you'll repay per day, the % they're making, originating fees, etc. There is literally no trap when it comes to them compared to traditional lenders that charge interest and thus you end up not knowing the total cost of said loan.

As far as loan amounts and "interest/profit on Square's part" I find it more than fair considering many of us aren't able to qualify for traditional financing.

Banks don't lend without significant credit history or business length and they're just as predatory to those they actually loan to.

In a perfect world I wouldn't need a Square loan but they've provided an invaluable resource when I've needed financing the most.

I FINALLY got an offer today for $2k less than the one before and my sales have been 2-3x what they were before for the past 4 months. Doesn’t make sense

I have received a offer at 81%, offer went up about 5% from last one which I got in September
