We do this to make sure we are maintaining a safe and secure card processing environment for both our sellers and your customers.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;This means you may see a notification on your Dashboard requesting some additional information. &lt;H3&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;Why do I have to complete a verification form?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;Square’s Account Services team may require some additional information about you and your business. This is part of our work to maintain a safe processing environment for all sellers and customers. You may be asked to provide documents such as your government ID, an invoice, purchase order or bank statements from the bank account connected to your Square account. You may also be asked to provide some customer information. For example, in the case that you haven’t met your customer in person - these types of payments are associated with higher risk.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
