How do I change the the amount to be charged from $1.00

I am new to the E-comerce API. I read the "Walkthrough: Integrate Square Payments In a Website" document. I noted a few things I needed to change in the index.html file when I go from sandbox to production, but, I have no idea how to change the amount to be charged from the default of $1.00 to an amount equal the the total amount of the customer's transaction on my site.

Hey @Tony250,

I reached out to an API team member and this is the response I got:

"They would need to edit the amount in server.js where it says amount: 100 (which is equal to $1.00) to whatever amount they want to charge."

They also said getting the value from the customer is something we unfortunately couldn't assist further with because it requires more complex developer knowledge so you may need to consult with a web developer on that particular question.
