Monthly Subscription Club Plan?

I'm curious if Square has updated their capacities offer a built in subscription model to the check out process of the e-commerce websites?

1) Has anyone developed and app or a plugin for a subscription model?

2) Has Square, made this an in-house system yet?
3) Am I missing something?

I'm trying to find the best site that integrates a subscription system. If anyone has any other thoughts that would be appreciated.

Recurring Invoices is Square's solution for accepting subscription-type payments, but it's not as robust as other systems out there.

Another option:

We've partnered with Chargify to build out an integration that allows you to quickly launch subscription-based products & services without writing billing code and provides detailed analytics so you know the health of your recurring revenue business

Hello, I roast coffee and would love to see any option for selling a subscription besides recurring invoices, does this exist?

Thanks for writing in 👋! Outside of recurring invoices, Square doesn't offer a subscription based feature in-app but we do have an official partnership with Chargify that provides that type of functionality.

My name is Dan I've worked in point of sale and payments for 7+ years and developed a software to help retail businesses leverage subscriptions. It's called Submatic (https://www.submatic.io/).

We have an integration with Square that automates member discounts/benefits based on the rules that you configure. For example you can create a membership for a product or which entitles the member to a discount. Our software tracks and communicates the membership benefits with Square so that you don't have to track anything manually.

If you're looking for another way to offer a membership (think a model similar to Panera's unlimited drip or a pre-paid punchcard with a subscription), you might want to look into Subport on the Square App marketplace: https://squareup.com/us/en/app-marketplace/app/subport

I've seen many coffee shops and roasters use it for their memberships/subscriptions
