Why aren't my discounts displaying on my website?

I created a 25% discount on my summer inventory. I followed all the steps on how to create a discount, and applied it. My location is set to my website and I have selected the 6 items, but when I launch my website the discounts dont show. I added one of the items I created the discount for in the cart and pretended to checkout but the discount still doesn't get taken off. Am I suppose to edit my website so the discount will display or is it something else??

HI, did you create an automatic discount or apply discount code? Can you please share a screenshot of your discount settings?
