Subscription on Weebly Ecom Store NOT Square!

There really needs to be a way to have recurring subscription via WEEBLY, not a SQUARE checkout link.

This is a VERY different thing than having it on the Weebly site https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/7627-get-started-with-subscriptions-in-dashboard

Which is just a payment link that can be setup, it does NOT and WILL NOT link up to your Weebly site (run through Square).

This seem like such a huge miss on Square/Weeblys part when literally every other website service has an in house subscription model where you can just create a global plan of subscriptions for your entire website and have customers choose that or a 1-time purchase!

HI, Square obtained Weebly 2018 with now being one platform. There is no separate Weebly. The current Weebly sites are basically “grandfathered”. Many options and features previously on Weebly have been discontinued. Many discussions on these boards are also stating “Weebly” is no longer being updated or maintained. It’s Square sandbox and if we want to play, we have to obey or play somewhere else. This is a seller to seller community board with no Square Support.

Thanks Terri. Appreciate the reply. I totally get that Weebly is not Square, however a few years ago when Square asked us to be in their pilot program we were able to ask for changes to weebly and they actually did make a lot of changes, not sure what changed but its unfortunate because we have been asking for subscriptions via Weebly since 2019.
