How to split checks based on seats

How can I split checks based on seating at a single table? If I can't find out a way to do this, It will absolutely be a deciding factor in whether or not we use square. If anyone else is having this issue, I recommend Touch Bistro. Square seems great, but this single feature will ruin the app if not addressed promptly.

I found out how to split the checks by seating, but you have to find a menu, then select each item individually. I hope there is a way to split them automatically. I'm also still at a loss for how to assign a meal to a seat quickly.

@Eltoroloco I saw that you are running Square in a restaurant. Do you have an answer here?

Hi @DirtyDogBrats

It’s not currently possible to split entire seats into individual checks with Square for Restaurants, you’re able to move items to a new check and split them between payments methods that way.

We also have a direct integration with Touch Bistro as well if you wanted to check it out to see if it works for you.
