Hi, we are developing our own ordering kiosk app and hardware. The kiosk will be used in a quick service restaurant so customers can order and pay at the kiosk. We're not sure how to make it compatible with Square. We custom made the kiosk using Android system but it does not have any brandname yet.

You'll probably want to look into our Developer Portal through your Square Dashboard for integration options.

Hopefully someone here can post about successes they've integrating their kiosk solutions and Square!

We tried to connect Square reader to our app but it said "Device not supported". Do you accept unbranded device or it has to be Apple, Samsung, etc. devices?

Any devices that you will find on this compatibility list are known to be supported. Others fall into the realm of untested, so they may be supported/they may not. Most Android and Apple brands are supported.
