Change receipt "Custom Text" with API?

I would like to have the capability of changing the "Custom Text" on the receipt programmatically through the Square POS API. Has anyone done that? I've looked in the documentation and I do not see it.

Hey @kb0wwp, I just confirmed with our API team that it's not possible to change the custom text on a receipt using Square's POS API. We'll let you know if that changes in future!

I'd really like to be able to set custom receipt text on a per receipt basis. Are there any specific plans to build this feature?
