I can't disable tip screen

I operate a drivethru business and have always relied on the presence of the tip line on the printed receipt for collecting tips. It's not practical to do it any other way. Today the system started imposing the tip screen as the only means of completing a transaction. Turning tip screen off in settings didn't solve the problem. Now, the tip screen button is nowhere to be found in settings. Customer support has been utterly useless. Has anybody had the same experience?
