Invoice with service charge added if CC payment is selected over ACH

Hello Square merchants!

I would like to allow my customers to pay by ACH or credit card.

If they choose credit card payment, I would like that payment option to auto include a service charge.

I'm not seeing how to do that with the current invoice setup. Any insights would be helpful!

Hey @Cindy_SPC

You can set up a service charge in Business>Settings>Service Charges. You can then add that service charge to each invoice prior to sending.

However, I don't believe that there is a way (or a rule) to allow or depict the ability to add the service charge only depending on which payment method that they use.

With that being said, you could either ask the client if they prefer to pay one way or another, and then inform them their is an additional service charge for CC payments, or simply add the service charge in regardless of which method of payment they decide to go with.
