Email receipts have dark blocks that consume too much ink when printed.

The email receipts have dark blocks that consume too much ink when printed. These blocks don't really look that professional and are totally unnecessary. This should always be considered when designing items that are likely to be printed. A "printer friendly" version would be a nice alternative.

This is the first page of the three-page receipt. The solid blocks aren't huge but they do require a lot of ink when printed. I prefer a printer-friendly type of receipt that fits on one page.

Thanks for the screenshot. Digital receipts are intended to be emailed, not printed, so there's no setting that removes the dark blocks in the header. Perhaps you can change the template color to a lighter color in Receipts settings so it doesn't print so dark.
