I'm starting a business and I'm new to square. I'm trying to set up an item at the main menu that adds a fee. I'm trying to set up a card fee at a percentage base to add the base percentage fee for a card swipe but it wont let me and I dont know how... And my second issue is when charging labor I cant put in a decimal on my labor cost, so if I'm charging 6.3 hours of labor it wont let me I have to round up or down.... Can I get help fixing this

@JLubecke So you want to add a surcharge to essentially push the card processing fee to the customer yes? Square doesn't offer a built in surcharge calculator, you'll need to download third party app outside Square, then add it as a custom amount to the sale.

Keep in mind: Credit and debit card surcharge rules may vary by state, regulatory, or card network rules. Please touch base with a tax professional or your local government for further guidance on whether surcharges are permitted in your area.

As for Labor costs, are you referring to the calculation of hourly pay and hours works for Employee Timecards? Once I get more details, I'll have an answer for you.
