Hi,

I am new to square and I am developing a new app integration for my third-party app. How to set up a store in the square?

Hi @amshu - I see this is your first post in the Seller Community so I'd like to officially welcome you! 🎉👏

You can activate your Square account from a computer by visiting squareup.com, or by downloading the app on a supported Android or iOS device.

On your computer, navigate to squareup.com.
Click Get Started and fill out the information to create your account.

On a supported mobile device:

Visit the Apple App Store or Google Play and search “Square”. You can also go to square.com/app on your device to be directed to download the Square app.
Once installed, open the app and follow the in-app prompts to create a new account or sign in to your existing one.

After creating your account and logging into your Square Dashboard, you will have the option to complete the full activation of your account through our Setup Guide. Learn more about getting started with Square in our Support Center.

Thank you. I have store setup now. But how to place test orders in the store to verify the order created webhook event?

Hi again, @amshu - Are you wanting to run test orders through your Square Online Store? We don't have a way to separate "tests" from "real orders" so you would need to create a 100% discount and apply the discount code to the order so you won't be asked for a form of payment at the end.
