&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;First, make sure you're using one of the compatible devices (&lt;A href="http://square.com/compatibility%29" target="_blank"&gt;http://square.com/compatibility)&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Then, check that your device's iOS or Android operating system us up to date&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Finally, confirm that you're running the latest version of the &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/en-us/article/4982" target="_self"&gt;Square app&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
