DNS settings

I am having difficulty with the settings for the online store. I have made the proper settings with GoDaddy. In the Store URL box I am not certain what to use. I click on the Use a Custom Domain and type in the website and when I test it I get the message "Your domain looks great! ......" But then it will not save and turns red. Not sure what I am doing wrong?
