How can I make it so a specific type of appointment cannot be scheduled without a consultation?

Hi All! 🙂 I am trying to make it so a client cannot schedule a certain type of appointment, unless they have completed a free consult appointment. How do I do that? TIA!

Hi there @TidyinTimeLLC! 🧹 You have a couple of options here that I can think of...

The optimal way to do this would be to make it so that the specific service so that it is not bookable by customers.

Start by heading to your Services Library > select the service to edit it > scroll to Price and Duration on the Edit Service page > toggle OFF the Bookable by Customers Online option:

Another option would be to make it so that you must accept or decline all appointments.
- Start by heading to your Appointments settings > Online Booking Preferences > select Business must accept or decline all appointment requests.
