Item Variation Counts

I need to be able to put in counts for each variation of an item , is there currently a way to do this or do I need to change the set up of my menu. Ex. if I have white and dark chicken as variation of chicken but I only have 4 dark chicken left I need to be able to put in a count for just the dark chicken.

You can edit the inventory by variations. We have a help guide here that will give you instructions on how to do this.

Hello! No I'm talking about in the Square Restaurant app that our servers use. I can give them item counts and 86 items but if I have an item variation I need to be able to count the individual variations in their app so they can see how many of each variation we have.
