I have been placing physical location into the description of the item. Not perfect, but it works for us. I do find myself using the computer alot to find info about my inventory.

We'd like to be able to track physical bin/aisle locations for items in our store. We're using "categories" to track broader inventory types, but would also like to be able to compare sales for different physical areas of the store. I know Square doesn't offer this as a standard feature but has anyone found a work-around for this sort of thing?

Thank you,

Unfortunately most POS software doesn't do this, as this is reserved for warehousing software. The bigger guys just tie in their warehousing software with their POS systems.

We need someone to create a warehousing app that will talk with square like those other ones in the square app marketplace!
