Magento: XMLHttpRequest error in Internet Explorer

We have installed square in magento and it works in all browsers except IE. Internet explorer 11 returns this error...

XMLHttpRequest for https://connect.squareup.com/v2/v required Cross Origin Resource Sharing (CORS).

Researching the error has been futile.

It has been determined this is an informative message and not an error. We have not determined why the iframe stops rendering.
