We made some great updates to Square in February - check out the list below (and read more on our blog!) about the 🔥 hottest new features we launched in February.

Square for Retail - a brand new app for Retail businesses that comes with advanced inventory management, purchase ordering, vendor management, unlimited Employee Management and reporting like COGs. Check out the community thread: Product Update: Introducing Square for Retail.
Square Payroll is now available in Louisiana, New Jersey, and Connecticut!
Improved experience for Point of Sale API user with Square Reader for contactless and chip. Square Point of Sale can now maintain a connection with Square Reader for contactless and chip even when the Square Point of Sale app is backgrounded.
Repeat Square Marketing email campaigns - if you have a recurring coupon you'd like to run multiple times, you can now select how often and how many times you'd like the campaign to repeat.
Custom gift cards now available in smaller quantities. You can now order custom gift cards in packages with as few as 250 cards!
Virtual Terminal (the thing you use to take payments directly from your computer) notes are now visible on receipts and transaction reports, including in exportable CSV files.

The Square Retail is a mostly new version of Square POS that has all new front end (all barcode based no buttons to click). It also has much improved inventory managment and employee managment include. It isn't free, there is a monthly cost to using the Square retail App. https://www.squareup.com/retail

When will some of these features be availible outside US?
The customer directory would be great for example.
Even if you are unable to process payments please give some monthly subscription offers to us outside US.

@Magnus We're always trying to bring these features to new markets. We don't have an exact timeline on this, but if anything changes we'll be sure to announce it.
