How Do I Add A Variation And Modifier to the Same Listing?

Hi Kye Here.

I have an item which has two different options, 1: regular, and, 2: create your own. The problem is that I have added a variation which comes up fine with the price, but when you go through to pay, the system requires you select a minimum 8 items. Which is what I want, but this minimum item should only be visible/available for the create you own section of the listing.

How do I add the variation which is regular but without the added minimum 8 items required. Or will I have to create a separate item listing for the regular, and the create your own sections.
