Close / open self serve

Hi, I’ve just started using square for restaurants. I can’t seem to work out how to close the self serve ordering if for example we are completely slammed and cannot take more orders. Also, it’d be useful to be able to extend the order taking times if it’s busy later on without having to get the computer out in service.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Happy to help, you would do this from your Square Online Dashboard, this would need to be done from the computer though.

From your Square Online overview > Fulfilment > Self-serve ordering > Accept self-serve orders.

You can edit the timetable from here, so if you notice that there are trends in peak times, you would tweak that accordingly.

@joe_nash I’m late to the party on this thread but it highlights that the self serve isn’t effected when you enable ‘busy mode’ to add time or turn off online orders for XX minutes. Really this is the key one where it needs to be paused!
