    <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you to all who stepped in with information. Actually there was some confusion about loyalty points as I had been given a link by a friend for free transactions. But I think that may now have been sorted.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I used my cardreader for the first time yesterday and wonder why these show up on my phone but not my computer. I wonder if there is a linking step I have missed?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sorry - so many questions but I am not tech-savvy so feeling my way!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Allied subject!&amp;nbsp; I have just had notification from Square that 98p has been paid into my account. (I paid myself £1 to try out my reader). Is that likely to get refunded or should I contact them. And if so, is there a number I can call for this sort of query? Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;H2&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Refunds In-App&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/H2&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;From the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen, tap Transactions.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Select the payment you’d like to refund.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;You can search by card number, phone, customer name, receipt, notes or item.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;You can also tap the customer’s payment card directly on Square hardware to filter card transactions paid to your business.&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;P&gt;- Square will debit the refund amount from your Square balance, or if those funds are unavailable, the linked bank account will be debited.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- When issuing an itemized refund, the amount being refunded will reflect any applicable taxes (e.g. Sales Tax) and discounts for the selected item(s).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- For Custom Amount transactions, you’ll have the option to refund any amount up to the total amount of the sale.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- Team member commission (if applicable) earned from the original sale will not be changed.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- If you issued a partial refund, the remaining portion of the payment can be refunded at a later time.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- Partial refunds will not include tax and tip in reports.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- Since a tip is considered a line item, you can refund it individually. Issuing a refund for a tip will not allow you to adjust the amount since you are unable to issue a partial refund on an item. In order to receive a tip after it’s been refunded, you will need to reprocess your customer’s card.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I read this thread and understand that you were referred by another Square seller and you were expecting to see that your first £1000 card transactions won't have any Square fee. When you tested out you see that a fee was applied.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The referral program actually reimburse Square fees when the balance is transferred to your bank account. This means you will see that Square fees have applied to a given transaction on the Transaction level, however, if you go to your &lt;STRONG&gt;Balance &lt;/STRONG&gt;and check the&lt;STRONG&gt; Transfer details&lt;/STRONG&gt;, you will see that the fees are reimbursed before we transfer these payments to your bank account. If you refund the transaction back to the card before we transfer to your bank account, then the free processing won't be used.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can check your Referral Free processing balance from your &lt;STRONG&gt;Dashboard&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;Account&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;amp; &lt;STRONG&gt;Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;Fee&lt;/STRONG&gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;processing&lt;/STRONG&gt; or from Square App, go to &lt;STRONG&gt;More&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;Referrals.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
