I'm sure I posted here before but I'm being notified that I didn't introduce myself so here goes!

Second, using Square to sell our photography has been effective - I do have to partner Square with a photo gallery / sales tool to handle the digital assets, but it's working well.

I enjoy this community, am happy to contribute here, and would love to connect with other photographers using this platform to see if there are some tricks we can learn from each other!

I also use Square for my Online sales via Woo commerce and in person sales. I wish I could Square would allow me to setup an iPad or computer workstation as self serve station.

So far square has been great. Wasn't too thrilled when they updated the hardware and I was forced to buy new square reader.

Thank you for reaching and providing this feedback I do understand the frustration here of having to upgrade and spend more money, not a good feeling. Square does have the option to utilize your iPad as a customer display but doesn't offer the ability for customers to checkout on their end, just view items. We do offer self-serve apps you can integrate with like KioskBuddy, there are others too on Square App Marketplace. I know this is not all quite what you are looking for but wanted to just throw these options out here. If you do have any additional questions please let me know, I am happy to help!

Thank you @Michael_L, I can't believe that interview was way back in 2020 - time flies! Hmm I wonder if you could start a thread about photography tips and tricks in one of our current groups - Artists and Makers perhaps? Just a thought!

A normal iPad has a mode where it can be locked to one app, so if you made it customer-facing you could just open your storefront as a normal online client would and then lock the iPad so that's all it displays. (You just enter the password to return it to normal.) Would that work for you @byuen ?
