what does the button qty true or false mean

I'm trying to figure out how to track inventory and I don't understand whether to set the quantity to true or false. Can't seem to run it down in any of the starter guides. Can someone help me?

HI, the - (minus) or + (add) means to add quantity to your purchase. Do you want one, two, three etc. or after three, decide you only want two then you apply the - (minus).

example of stock below

The Stock column with -- indicates unlimited inventory.

The column with 1 indicates having only 1 item in inventory.

To add stock click on the -- for a popup to Update Stock.

Turn on the radio button next to Track Stock.

A dropdown of selections for how you wish to track your stock.

I think I understand that part. The question I have is about the quantity (qty) button - do I set it to true or to false?

(Square isn't letting me upload my screen shot for some reason.)

What system are you using? Square for Retail or Square Restaurants?
