Welcome to the seller community. We operate a restaurant/winery/distillery in WA, similar business needs to you i guess.

Is there anything you wish you could do with the square ecosystem that you can't currently ?

Have you used or interested in using the automated surcharging to recoup processing fees. We recently started and have to say that no customer has even mentioned it (which i was quite surprised about).

Hi Bruce,

Nice to meet a fellow WA business.

We had a few people mention it early on, when we first were using the fee, but we get no comments now. Now I have the register repaired, we use that mainly and it shows the fee on payment. We list it on our menus and boards.

Some people are aware of it and prefer cash. but no issues. I love the automation and set-and-forget. I hated having to remember to turn the fee on and off.
