At this time, it's not possible to send out an invoice with a dollar amount under $1. You could consider "selling" the item with a 100% discount in your point-of-sale app for your stock levels, and then issue an invoice outside of Square. I understand this isn't a perfect workaround and will pass this feedback on to our Square Invoices team.
