I can pull up Square reports, see sales summary, etc, but how do I know which amounts received belong to which clients?

Great question, and I'm more than happy to point you in the right direction!

@WoodChuck You're right. These details aren't currently shared through any of our sales reports, but I've definitely heard this feature requested before. I know how it important it is for some sellers to closely track the amounts that each customer is spending from a higher level.

On the flip side, this information can be accessed if you're subscribed to Square Marketing. Among a number of features that become available with this subscription, you also gain access to Premium Profiles. These profiles allow you to look up individual customers, and then view the sales associated with them. You'll want to make sure that you connect your customer's to their associated sales by using the Customer Directory feature.

@ woodchuck - Add me to the list of frustrated Square customers who don't have time to try to match up anonymous payments with potential customers. I've never seen anything like this.
