Square reader extenders for iPhone with Otterbox case

DOC — Mon, 04 Apr 2016 16:38:11 GMT

Where can I get an extender for my reader? The otterbox case prevents the reader from connecting properly and I don't want my phone to be without a case. Are the extenders sold online reliable? Does Square recommend a particular one? Thank you.

We don't officially support extenders and can't guarantee compatibility, but we have a few options listed in this article, which some customers have found helpful: http://squ.re/1Synog4

And, yes, other sellers should chime in if they've seen something that works!

Has anyone bought the extender? Does it work?

Ive tried a few different ones, even one from Apple. None of them work, I keep getting an error message that the Accessory is not apple certified, even when using the Apple version.
