I'm thinking about starting a rental company using square. I would swipe the credit card through the square reader before they pickup the rental. But If somebody doesn't return/damages the rental would there be a way to charge them for it later without the credit card in hand?

We don't currently have a way to store customer payment cards or take deposits, @Rayrowdart.

But we know it'd be useful for you and other sellers, so it's on our radar and we're working on it. I'll be in touch when we have more info to share!
