Need detailed shipping costs at item level

We are getting ready to go-live and have figured out how to set up shipping and now we want to test with multiple items in a cart. The shopping cart doesn't show the shipping costs until the credit card info has been entered which I'm thinking is because of how it calculates the shipping.

We have some items as free, one item with a set shipping cost and the rest are by weight.

I can see the shipping at the item level on the screen in the shopping cart as soon as the credit card is entered but I don't see any reports that break it out at the item level. I'm hoping it is a newbee question but I don't see it spelled out anywhere.

The shipping options should calculate once the receiver address is entered. Can you clarify your question a bit? Are you asking if the customer will see a breakdown cost of shipping, or are you asking if you as the seller will see a breakdown in your Square account?

I'm asking if it is possible to export the item catalog that is online because it includes the shipping weight of the product. This field is not in the item catalog that is exportable from the dashboard.
