custom policy or notification on item page

I need to add a note to my item pages that states prices include state sales tax. In order to include sales tax in the price my state requires that I post a notice saying so. I only see shipping policies and return policies. I would like a custom policy or a place to add a note on the item page so it shows up on every item. I currently have it posted under shipping policy but that doesn't make sense and isn't seen unless someone wants to see the shipping policy.

Is there a way to create a custom note on the item page?

I don't use square online, but would a pop up banner work?

I'm not sure if you can add it specifically to a specific page (item page), or if you can only set them to the main page

Ahh okay. If @AdamB may have a suggestion for the item page specifically, but if not, I think the home page pop up banner would work perfectly, so all customers can acknowledge and dismiss it, and then you are in compliance with state as well.

Thanks for the tag, @Minion. Hmm... Maybe you could add a note to your site footer, @K_Archibald? That would be on all pages of the site and be more permanent than a banner. It also will cover you if you decide to talk about item prices anywhere else on the site.

I could do that. I’ll also add it to description as I post new items. It would be nice to see the option in the future to customize store policy and not be limited to only shipping and returns.

That makes sense. I could even see an additional field where you could specify the title yourself.
