That discount set up is clever but I can absolutely see the draw backs to that method. You can always process a refund on the original transaction then process the new sale so you are able to track inventory correctly.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I am using Square in a retail store setting. There needs to be a better way to handle returns.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There needs to be a way to put in a negative item for when someone returns an item and they are buying another item.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So if someone returns a plate I can put in a -1 for that item and then add the new items they are purchasing. I currently have set up a discount for return items, but this will not track what item was returned.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any other ideas on how to do this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
