You can share your login/password, and your volunteers would just need to download the app on their devices. However, if you would like to have more security measures in place, you can use our Employee Management features. That would allow you to track sales from each volunteer and restrict certain areas/actions within the app.

Hopefully that helps!

Our charity has a square account and would like to have volunteers take contributions at events around the country. We can share our hardware but does each volunteer need to individually set up a Square account with our bank information? Should we have them download the Square app and sign into our account with a single username/password ? Is there a way of safeguarding the account from issuing credits for these users ? Thanks Alex

if I were you I wold set up a square account for the non-profit - you don't want to mingle your funds in there anyway. Your volunteers can all log in to that account. There is security for who can do refunds. And you can only refund a previosu transaction. The reports show which phone did which transaction.
