Square Appointments — Can I add a day to my schedule?

My regular business hours are Monday - Thur, is there any way I can add in extra "open" days to the online scheduling occasionally? Like If I decide to work a Friday, or a Saturday morning?

I can't see where that is possible yet for online scheduling.

We need to be able to do this also. If we want to open our available hours just for a day. Or even change the available hours for a day. Take appointments earlier in the day or later in the day, but not a final in schedule that repeats, just be able to adjust a day if we want.

Hello @GroveandBaker and @SuperiorImages, thanks for pointing this out!

At this time, the option to set up a custom schedule with Square Appointments isn't available. Right now, as you set your hours, that availability will be applied to your entire calendar.

Suggested Work-around:

For now, you might consider setting bookable hours in addition to your standard business schedule. Find more details on this in our Support Center.

Our product liaison team is tracking this issue, as many other sellers have surfaced this request too. There's no specific timeline for any changes yet, but we'll certainly announce any updates.

Appointments - Adding availability only on specific days

My weekly schedule is set Tues-Sat. If there is a specific Monday I would like to be available on my schedule is there a way to just add that specific monday without making EVERY Monday open for booking?

Same with certain days I choose to work an hour or two late just on one specific night?
Other booking sites have had this feautre, im just not finding it with square.

Same here I put my hours to be booked for anther day and it doesn't show up

Update: after another review, it appears that the original workaround is no longer available.

For now, you might consider setting up your Business Hours as available for all seven days per week. Then, you can use use the Personal Event option in your Calendar to block off any days and times where you are not available.

It would be great to be able to have the option of ‘every other’ Saturday or whatever day of the week. I don’t work every Saturday but do every other. This would be a great option. Please add soon.
