How do I make some items ineligible for further discounts? Ie- happy hour items?

How do I make happy hour items ineligible for further discounts? Additionally, there are a handful of items on our menu that are ineligible for Employee Discounts. How do I prevent specific discounts from being applied to these items?

Hi there,

While you cannot make items completely ineligible for further discounts, you can turn on the Passcode Requirement for discounts.

This would require employees to enter a passcode to apply a discount to any of the items.

Thank you. Can I turn on a passcode requirement for discounts on specific items? Ie- can an employee discount be applied to most menu items, but have a few menu items that require a passcode for that discount?

Absolutely!

You can create a discount and only turn on the passcode requirement for that specific discount.

This would allow you to restrict who can or cannot apply that specific discount to a sale, while the other discounts can still be applied by all of your employees.
