How do I create and print a sales ticket, or invoice to show the customer BEFORE they pay?

So long as you're using Open Tickets, you can print the bill before you authorize the charge!

To do so:

Tap Tickets
Select the ticket you'd like to print
Tap the drop-down arrow at the top of the ticket
Tap Print Bill

Lastly, you can also use Sign and Tip receipts if you'd like for your customer to sign on a paper receipt. Hope those options help!

I am trying to follow your instructions in order to print an open ticket before payment is made. But I don't see the "Print Bill" option. On my drop down is...

Is there another way to print?

Just realized it might be because I'm not currently connected to our receipt printer. Is there a way to print on a "normal" printer?

No, you have to be connected to the receipt printer.
