    <description>&lt;P&gt;I was told we could use the same chip read on 2 accounts with 2 devices as long as we didn't both have open at the same time.&amp;nbsp; But when we try we have to go through the setup process every time.&amp;nbsp; Also it tells us to hit the power button to connect.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;It seems the only way to do that is to take it out of the dock each time.&amp;nbsp; Any suggestions?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I manage two very different Square Marketplaces whose transactions go to different bank accounts. I got a contactless reader for one account and want to know if I can use it for both, rather than getting&amp;nbsp;a second reader. And if so, anything I need to know in switching from one account to the other? Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yep, all of our readers are universal so they're&amp;nbsp;not associated with any account in particular. When your reader is paired with your device, it's the login information in the app that determines where the payment is sent.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

As long as everyone signs into the app using the &lt;EM&gt;same&lt;/EM&gt; email and password the payments accepted&amp;nbsp;will be linked to your business.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Keep in mind if you share your log in information with someone&amp;nbsp;that means they will have &lt;STRONG&gt;full&lt;/STRONG&gt; access to your account. If you have a lot of people taking payments for you,&amp;nbsp;I recommend using our &lt;A href="http://squ.re/2CtkaLD" target="_blank"&gt;Mobile Staff feature&lt;/A&gt;, which allows someone to accept payments on your behalf without giving them full access to your account.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The reader can only be paired with one device&amp;nbsp;at a time. However, you can toggle between accounts. For example, I can spend one hour using the reader with my device logged into one Square account. The next hour I can log into a different Square account and pair the reader to the app account.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
