Cash Transaction listed and paid in Square payout but listed again as cash deposit in bank

Why is a cash transaction listed and included in a payout from Square, but also the physical cash was seperately deposited.

Not sure how cash was recognized in square in the first place but one payment seems to be counted twice in our business bank, 1 through Square and 1 through a Cash deposit. HELP!

Hmm, sounds strange, @sci1956.

We definitely will not send any funds for 'cash' transactions made in Register, however you may see them in individual deposits on your Deposits page, if there was a Split Tender transaction in the day's sales.

This is to show the total sales amount included in your deposit, but also note that part of the total sales (the split tender) were in cash, and not part of your deposit total. Is that where you're seeing this?

If not, it may be hard to figure out here in the Community since we can't look into the specific deposits, but a Support team member can take a closer look. Hope that helps!
