Sending an Invoice for Online Store. Can it track what I'm selling and adjust the current inventory?

I am setting up my online store for our companies merchandise(shirts, notebooks, pens, etc) and not all of our departments have credit cards to use through the online store. How can we accomadate them? We thought about using invoices, but they will not be able to place an order through the store.

Hey @jtennis — thanks for bringing this up.

You're correct — you cannot use Square Invoices to pay for Online Store orders at this time.

As a possible workaround, you might consider issuing Square Gift Cards to the departments that do not have credit cards. This would allow you to accept online orders as they would be able to enter the gift card number during checkout.

Hello,

I am considering moving the B2B side of our business to an online store.

Ideally this would allow me to have a hidden or even password protected online store that allowed our business customers to order and checkout without having to pay. We collect on delivery or have terms from some customers. Is there any way to couple an onine store and invioces?

Hey @kimcheese! Unfortunately, there isn't a way to set up a hidden Online Store like this, and the Online Store doesn't integrate with Square Invoices. I'll share your request with the Online Store team thtat this is an important feature for B2B business like yours.
